With stunning views overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Morvern Mountains, the Airds Hotel and Restaurant is located in North West Argyll.
We are approximately 32kms north of Oban and 44kms south of Fort William.

We are best reached by car and train (Connel Ferry train station is 27km) with the closest airports being Glasgow International (160 km) and Edinburgh International (190km)

We can also land helicopters in our garden. The co-ordinates required for helicopter landing are N°56 33’26” W°5 24’44”. Please advise us prior to your arrival in order for us to prepare everything for you.

For private aircraft, Oban Airport is situated just off the A828 by the village of North Connel 27km from the hotel and some 6kms from the centre of Oban. Turn left out of the airport along the A828 and after 24kms take the left turn signposted Port Appin. The hotel is 2.5kms on the left on the left.

Driving from Glasgow – take the M8 west, cross the Erskine Bridge and turn left onto the A82. At Tarbet turn right (still on the A82) and carry on to Crianlarich. At Crainlarich turn left and continue all the way to Ballachulish. At the mini roundabout take the A828 to Oban and in Appin turn right at the “Port Appin/Lismore Ferry” sign.  The hotel is 2.5 kms down this single track road and is on the left hand side.

Driving from Edinburgh – take the M9 towards Stirling.  Follow the A84 and head towards Crianlarich (A82), and then carry on to Ballachulish. At the mini roundabout take the A828 towards Oban and after 26 kms turn right at the “Port Appin/Lismore Ferry” sign.  The hotel is 2.5kms down this single track road and is on the left hand side.
