How to find us

BY ROAD
Approximately 20 miles north of Oban and 27 miles south of Fort William.

From Glasgow - take the M8 west across the Erskine Bridge and turn left onto the A82 (Crianlarich) and head north to Ballachulish. Take the A828 to Oban and in Appin turn right at the "Port Appin"/Lismore Ferry" sign.

From Edinburgh - take the M9 towards Stirling. Follow the A84 and head towards Crianlarich (A82), carry on to Ballachulish. Take the A828 to Oban and in Appin turn right at the "Port Appin"/Lismore Ferry" sign.

The nearest airports are Glasgow International which is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes by road, and Edinburgh Airport which is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes by road.

Additionally, helicopters can land in our grounds and private planes can land at Connel Airfield, just 20 minutes drive south from the hotel. Taxis and car hire are easily arranged and will meet you at the airfield if required.

BY BOAT

Our location on Loch Linnhe makes us very convenient for visiting us by sea. The nearest location to moor a yacht is at the Port Appin pier although this is subject to availability and would require a tender. From here it is a 10 minute walk to The Airds or we may be able to collect you by car.

Alternatively, Linnhe Marine has walkways you can moor up to. This is 10 minute by taxi. Dunstaffanage Marina has full marina facilities and is located just north of Oban. Taxis or car hire can be arranged to meet you at the marina and the drive to us takes about 25 minutes.
