Wine Dinner - 5th November

We are pleased to announce that we will celebrate Guy Fawkes Night this year with some spectacular fireworks for the palate. On November 5th Gordon Davidson, sommelier and ambassador for leading wine merchant’s Corney & Barrow, will host our final wine dinner of 2016 pairing specially selected Pinot varietal wines with a sumptuous 7-course gourmet dinner prepared by Head Chef Chris Stanley. Prices start from £220 per person, based on 2 sharing a double room, inclusive of the gourmet wine dinner and full Scottish breakfast the next day. Reservations: email@example.com (01631 730236). Arrive in time to enjoy a walk in the surrounding countryside ablaze with autumnal colours. After watching the sun go down – at around 4.30 pm – over the waters of Loch Linnhe, warm up with a dram beside a roaring log fire.
Pre-dinner drinks and canapés will be served in the lounge followed by the gourmet dinner and matching wines in the restaurant, and coffee and petit fours to close the evening. Argyll is at the heart of Scotland’s larder and fresh local ingredients selected for every course showcase its rich and varied terroir – fireworks guaranteed, with every mouthful.
