We are fortunate to have very loyal staff the majority of whom have been with us for many years.
We are very proud to have Robert McKay who manages the hotel for us as General Manager and he is supported by Carolyn as his Assistant Manager. They in turn are supported by a great team both Front of House and in Housekeeping who work tirelesly to ensure your stay with us is as good as it can be. We manage our own in house laundry and this is done by Chrissie who has worked at the hotel for over 40 years so what she does not know about laundry is not worth knowing!
The hotel garden and kitchen garden are carefully tendered by Les our Gardener and he in turn is supported by his most loyal friend - his dog Mollie who comes with him most days to work. Mollie loves nothing more then being thrown a ball and catching it and bringing it back to you - if only everyone's needs were as simple!
We are very fortunate each year to have a small number of students studying 'Hospitality' in either French and/or Swiss Hotel Schools. Indeed we have been recognised as being a hotel of distinction in terms of providing training for these students as part of their work placements which they are required to do in order to complete their degrees.
The kitchen brigade is headed up by Chris and under his leadership the hotel has once again been awarded 3 Rosettes with the AA. Chris is supported by Calum, our Sous Chef and like many of our staff he has been with the hotel for many years now. Working under Chris are also a Pastry Chef and 2 Commis Chefs.
