The Airds Hotel & Restaurant is a four red star, Inspector Choice hotel near Oban in Argyll, with a great team and a friendly environment. Positions are generally full time, live in or out (excluding management positions), with 28 days paid holiday per year, an attractive package with meals on duty provided, and good subsidised staff accommodation.

DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER – A strong team leader reporting directly to the General Manager.
We are looking for a live-in Senior Manager to assist in the smooth running of this 4* hotel and the 3 AA Rosette restaurant. This is a superb opportunity to work in a small privately owned boutique hotel committed to developing their staff within a management team. You will take on a prominent role becoming one of the faces of the hotel and an integral part of the team pushing for more accolades.
Smooth running of front of house including the restaurant
Ensuring all aspects of the hotel are running correctly and up to standard, including housekeeping and reception
Being the main point of contact for guests staying at the hotel
Staffing levels and rotas
Training and developing staff Management night cover
Must have current experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury red star hotel, with multi-rosette restaurant, hotel operations experience would be advantageous but not essential.
TRAINEE MANAGER– This position may suit a current restaurant manager or a supervisor who is looking for their next step.
All aspects of the role are very guest focused. Training will be provided, so specific experience is not always necessary. Conversely, enthusiasm, excellent attention to detail, excellent English and a love of the hotel industry are essential.
Candidates should be smart, friendly, charming, enthusiastic, with gracious manners, attention to detail, good communication skills, and fluent English.
WAITERS/WAITRESSES – Full time live in positions with GOOD career prospects
Candidates should have extremely high standards, and be friendly, charming, enthusiastic, well presented, with good manners, attention to detail, good communication skills, and good English. Part time positions can be at the weekends and easily fit around studies. We also provide training so experience is not essential. Fluent in English is essential.
You will be part of a friendly and hardworking team continuously striving for new challenges and developing your skills as you take this next step in your career.
We are currently looking for housekeeping staff. Must have reasonable level of English to the point of being able to understand instructions. The housekeeping role also includes work in the in house laundry department.
