“Come Cook with Me”
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a chef in a fine dining restaurant? Head Chef, Chris Stanley is opening up his kitchen for a truly unique 2 night culinary experience.
The break commences with a five course dinner on the first evening where you can relax in our intimate, candlelit restaurant and let Chef and his team showcase their talent.
The following morning after a leisurely breakfast, you will met the Head Chef in the lounge whereupon he will present you with a basked of ingredients for you to choose from. Now the creative process begins! You will choose the main ingredients you wish to prepare, and then sit down with Chris and plan the actual dishes you will be preparing, and write your own menu.
With the planning done you will then be shown how to prepare and cook your own dishes to a professional standard, and of course get to taste your final dishes. At this point Chris will give you some 'pointers' as to how to perhaps improve on them in the future.
That same evening you will then dine once again in the restaurant but this time, rather than choosing off the menu, Head Chef will personally prepare the same dish you prepared earlier and which you then tasted, so that you can then taste your dish prepared by a 3 Rosette Chef - see if you can taste the difference.
A maximum number of 4 participants so as to allow a very personal touch to the weekend.
The rate for the weekend is our normal dinner, bed and breakfast rate according to the room category you choose, plus a supplement of £275 per person for the above.
